The secular history of Chiarentin...

1922

The beginning of it all…

It was 1922 when Carlo Chiarentin, with only the strength of his arms, towed his boat along the banks of the Brenta to transport goods, thus giving life to Trasporti Chiarentin. Over time and the progress of the business, Carlo moved on to horse transport and then to the first motor boat.

1962

The arrival of motor vehicles

In 1962 Carlo's son, Olindo Chiarentin, took over the company and in 1975 he gave the turning point to his father's business by introducing motor vehicles. His resourcefulness and experience acquired over many years of work, has led the company to a continuous qualitative development of the service by including exceptional and railway transport at home.

1985

The transformation into s.n.c.

In 1985 Olindo Chiarentin transformed the company into a limited liability company and together with his three sons, given the demand in the sector, he brings the intermodal service and the management of goods with his own equipment to the new headquarters in Marghera. Then followed the birth in 1989 of the Conegliano branch, thus increasing the services offered.

2006

The transformation into s.r.l.

Since September 2006 the company, transformed into s.r.l. and led by his sons Mirco, Alessandro and Renata, continues with the same dynamism as their father, with the aim of always offering a wide range of high quality services to meet customer needs.

Today...

Today, a century later, the company based in Mira, with branches in Marghera and Conegliano, continues to make available, in Northern Italy and beyond, a fleet that allows it to operate in different types of transport: from open to curtainsiders, from oversized to tipping tanks and the oversize coil transport service with capacity up to 75t/80t.
